Gold for Kids is making an urgent appeal for volunteers to join them in helping make a huge difference to the lives of more than 4.5 million children living in poverty in the UK.
Fresh from winning the Charity and Community project category at the Private Dentistry Awards last week, the charity is specifically looking for volunteers willing to call dental practices across the UK to tell them about Gold for Kids and to enlist their support in collecting unwanted gold crowns, bridges and other precious and semi-precious metal which is then recycled to raise vital funds for those most in need.
Full training will be given.
Jules Roberts, GFK’s Supporter Engagement Manager, said:
“As a new charity we are very grateful to all our volunteers helping to raise awareness amongst the dental community to make Gold For Kids a household name and the ‘go to’ charity for recycling gold crowns to help improve the lives of children in the UK. It is a very rewarding role that can be done from home and you will be part of a fun team who are passionate about the success of Gold For Kids.”
If you can spare just two hours a week, please email Jules at email@example.com.
Meanwhile, if you would like to register interest in donating your unwanted crowns and bridges to Gold for Kids or if you would like to request a collection, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
